Drums loops and sonar5

Hello everyone, Im workin on my tunes and noticed
the drum loops - great real sound loops as they
are - always sound like the snare is too loud
while the bass is very quiet. what audio
effect,etc do you recommend for leveling out the
sound with drums?

Sween you have producers edition try using the
multi band compressor, you can compress and
adjust volume for each freq. I would eq it first
then try this.

yes, snares have a typical frequency range of 1.5
- 4 Khz, so compress that range to scale down
some peaks on the snare. Or cut eq on the loops
in that range should preserve the bass and hats
etc and reduce some snare. Or both...

I just cut the drums beats so there a seperate
file and quite them down that way
