another question about cool edit

does any1 know hwo to get rid of the hiss in cool
edit, and explain each step, slowly..ty.

Hiss reduction. Also, it helps if your input
line goes through a preamp instead of directly
into the computer - it's all about volume control.

Noise Reduction > Noise Reduction (or simply click the noise reduction button from the toolbar if you have it displayed up there) and click "OK". Now, using your definition of noise, cool edit will remove everything that matches it from the entire file. That is why it is important to only select a part of the audio file with no audio in it - only hiss / noise! Usually found in the first couple of seconds of a file after you have hit record and before the music starts." id="106227"> Noise Reduction (or simply click the noise

oh, and agapepaga is absolutely right - it's all
about volume / gain structure!
