That reminds me. I've only got ONE
non-energy-saving non-expensive light-bulb
that-makes-the-same-level-of-light-for-more-than-a
-week left. I hear they will be phased out in
the future. It's really the only one in the
house I can see properly by.

Here come the Earthlings; there goes the
neighborhood!
We have a few rooms lit by compact fluorescents
(which come with their own set of environmental
woes). My biggest complaint is the time it takes
them to "warm up" and fully light the area.
Y'know what's a real success story, IMHO, in the
world of "going green"? The new styrofoam! Not
only does it NOT pour out cyanide gas when you
burn it, it just plain WORKS BETTER than the old
stuff.
Man, if we could do that with every
more-environmentally-friendly product...come up
with something that's actually an improvement in
other areas...that'd be SWEET!
And you know what recyclable material our trash
service WON'T accept? That's right- styrofoam.
Not enough money in it, reportedly.
