A new song only dedicated to you...

What do you think about the following "business
idea"?
Can you imagine, that I create and produce a NEW
SONG only for YOU? Before you reject any offer,
you should know, that each of my songs is
improvised at once. Guitar play, melody and
made-up vocals are invented simultaneously and
live recorded. After recording the original track
will be mastered by Cool Edit Pro.
I'm spontaneously able to create and record a
complete new song on request. You as requester
will receive a single song cd with the song only
dedicated to you. I still own the copyright, but
if you want to upload this song for free, you can
do it with a hint to the copyright owner: Volker
Zdunnek aka Philos60. If you would like to sell
the song, you'll get 50% of the sales price.
You can define your own SONG TITLE with the
amendment... for YOUR NAME.
This work can't be free of charge, of course.
I've to define a price after this discussion.
Tell me your opinion...?

I have NO idea what you are selling...
Trying to sell songs to songwriters? You might
have better luck selling water to a duck

It's a good idea although your financial scheme
is flawed.
People won't pay you money for a song if you
still essentially own it. In the same way people
won't pay an artist to rent a portrait of
themselves.
You need to come up with a plan in which the
customer pays just once for the composition of
the song AND complete rights.
I'm sure a small minority would prefer your plan
so maybe you should offer different financial
options.
But don't forget amongst all this that people
buying a song for themselves don't want to be
thinking too much about the money. You need to
make sure the whole deal has a kind of romantic
feel to it. people don't want to be sifting
through contracts when they're buying a song for
themselves.

@azhazhellfire
You are right! I've already rejected this idea.
This short discussion confirms it.
Thanks for your understanding and rational
comments.
