Hi there new to this forum. Please can anyone
help with how to get FLstudio5 running on my
powerbook G4? I have been using FL for a while
now on pc but recently got a new powerbook and I
cannot find any software that even comes close to
FL! played with demo of reason and its not right
for me. Just need to know if its worth spending
£80 on virtual pc to see if FL will even work on
my new mac? any advice from any mac users out
there would be much appreciated. cheers.

yeah i have an ibook G4 and I use reason on it..
After using it for quite a while, I gave into the
fact that I like FL better.. so now I'm building
a new pc just for that purpose.
I thought about going the virtual PC route, but
I'm a little weary of it. Before I bought the
program, I'd find someone you know that has
virtual pc first and see how well FL runs on it.
I don't know how much of your system resources it
uses to run two operating systems at a time. i
decided that it would probably be better just to
go the pc route. let men know how it works for
you..

hi mate, thanks for the reply.
yeah i still have my pc but even after i spent
£60 on new case&powersupply its too noisy
compared to the silent running of the powerbook.
I just downloaded the demo of tracktion2 which
could be quite good? i will let you know how i
get on.
cheers for your advice.

FL is sooo damn married to directx that it's
almost impossible to run it under any non-windows
systems

Hi peeps, so is there anyone out there that has
ever attempted to run fruity through virtual pc?
as I cant find anyone on any other forums that
has ever attempted it? or am i going to have to
be the guinea pig and be the 1st person to try it?
thanks again.
