My soundcard with fruity loops

Hi, I have an Audiophile M-audio sound card I
just recently installed and I'm not sure how to
enable it through fruity loops. I know it's not
working because I can still play my keyboard even
when I turn the power button off on it
I
installed all the drivers properly and everything
but I don't think it's going through there.
Please help, thanks.

Also, when I press the keys down it seems
slightly delayed and I can't keep pace as easy as
I normally do with keyboards. I was hoping if I
get this soundcard to work properly that this
delay would go away...

ok, well.. first you have to go to the options
menu, and select audio options.. then, you'll
want to select, M-audio Delta ASIO.
make sure you choose ASIO, that's the driver that
will really lower your latency.
I just built a pc with that card in it... it's
quite amazing..

When I try to select the M-audio USB asio driver
I get an error message that read:
"Failed to initialize the M-Audio USB ASIO
driver. Make sure you M-Audio USB ASIO device(s)
connected and powered up."
It's plugged in and the power is on too. I also
have it connected with the usb cord and the midi
cord from the "Midi in" on the card to the "midi
out" on the keyboard...
