add effect to single pattern

elementfmc	Date: July 13, 2005 @ 5:08 AM how do i do this everytime i add an effect it does it to my whole song i want it just for a single pattern if anyone can help thnx
BlackMage	Date: July 13, 2005 @ 6:47 AM As far as I know, you can't do it on individual patterns. You can only affect individual samples.
2step-4eva	Date: July 13, 2005 @ 1:20 PM i dont think there is a way but if you have a sample or synth that is used in more than one pattern, just clone it and use a different one for each pattern, then you have two channels exactly the same but they can go on different fx tracks.
monkvolcano	Date: July 13, 2005 @ 6:26 PM just automate the on off switch on the effect. first, turn the switch off on the effect (using the little light on the right of the fx channel) then right click it and select "intilalize with this position" then go into the pattern you need to work with, and right click the on/off and hit "edit events" then just draw it in the on position for the length of that pattern, you'll need to draw it back to the off position after at the end of the pattern. kind of complicated, but it will work

KillCore	Date: July 20, 2005 @ 7:11 AM I think I know what your problem is, because it confused me for some time too, on the channel settings box, theres the FX box on the top right, select which FX channel you want from there, instead of just using the master FX one.. hope that helps
