RaggaJammo	Date: January 4, 2006 @ 1:09 PM ok i've been mucking around with fruity loops on and off for about a year now and have just started to really get into it and write a few decent dance/ drum and bass tracks.
RaggaJammo	Date: January 4, 2006 @ 1:11 PM FUCK sorry about that... my point is.. there a still a load of things i am confused about. i really want to start creating my own sounds, bass/pads etc. where do i start? how do i use plugins effectively? stupid but something that does annoy me - how on the playlist and piano roll can you get the blocks to click not slide.. if thats clear at all?? thanks to anyone that could help. i really want to start writing some great drum and bass so any general tips would be appreciated also.

2step-4eva	Date: January 5, 2006 @ 11:31 AM ok first i would say start looking for new drum samples. just search on the web and there are loads of free ones, but the good ones can take a while to find. good drum samples are pretty important. make a 3xosc channel and a ts404, and start messing around with all the settings on them... it doesnt take that long to figure out what does what... and try out all the fx on them - chorus, delay, distortion and eq especially. pretty soon u will learn the basics of bass sounds. now make some drums and u have the basics of drum&bass. pads are not my strongpoint, i usually use sytrus presets and loads of reverb but hopefully someone else knows more about em
Supertzar	Date: January 5, 2006 @ 1:20 PM I've been using Fruity Loops Studio 5 for about 3 months. I found lots of good samples on line and am pleased with FL, but it can be tough to work with until you learn how everything works.
