Strange noises with FL studio 4.1.2

LeoMandy	Date: January 16, 2006 @ 6:50 PM I had a crash, now in FL, my samples sounds all distorted and crazy! Especially drums and beats sound like they are some loud piece of machinery instead drum sound. I want to reinstall, but I don't want to lose all of my plugins and samples at the same time ! Any suggestions?
Fraser	Date: January 16, 2006 @ 7:33 PM Um... Explain more. Is it just on that one file? Ive had times when all my loops sound all crazy and crap, but only on a certain song i made.
MinisterofSc...	Date: January 16, 2006 @ 8:11 PM Hey Leo, I suggest going with it. Make some cool stuff with it and post it on your site. Then change it so the original sounds are there and put those up too for comparison.
triggerkitten	Date: January 16, 2006 @ 9:56 PM i agree with ministerofscissors on that one, haha. i work with dial-up, and if my connection ever starts up or cuts off while i've got FL running, it scrambles everything. but usually, i save whatever i'm doing and then just reload it, and after that it's usually fine.
shadowself	Date: January 16, 2006 @ 9:58 PM I "went with it" when the sound board on my M1 crapped out in '99. The result was a brutally awesome opus that I no longer have a copy of. Go with it at least once before the reinstall. Remember: you will never, ever get Fruity Loops to sound like this again.
LegoBreaks	Date: January 17, 2006 @ 5:15 AM hey does it clip when it loads, like tdoes the monitor goe bright red. Iv had that happen to me b4 , is it when youi load a file or just loading fruityloops, iv found that certain plugins sometimes make it clip on loading , like some of the buzz effect adaptor ones? i dunno otherwise , but good luck , anyway you could always backup you8r vsts and samples and projects , reinstall then throw them back in the fruity loops directory. good luck fixing it anyway

ModuleModule	Date: January 22, 2006 @ 9:54 PM update the drivers for your sound card, and if it comes to it, save your plug ins, etc and then reinstall.
