guys this external drum machine that i bot using midi cables i am trying to hook it up to fruity loops can someone help me do this i really want to start using it

well, your going to need to buy a midi/usb convertor of some sort. i reccomend anything by M-Audio ( their Audiophile USB is a good choice...) Once you have one, you are going to need 2 midi cables. 1 cable gets plugged into your drum machine where it says MIDI IN, the other end of the midi cable you jsut plgged in will go to the MIDI OUT port on your midi convertor. the 2nd cable will go from your MIDI IN on the drum machine to MIDI OUT in the midi convertor, usually both cables will need to be present even if your only sending data 1 way. once all that is set up, and your computer recognizes your midi convertor etc, youl need to open up a new instance of FL. try tapping the pads on the drum machine , you should hear the sounds being triggered in the step sequencer.
