stopping a synth from bleeding into another pattern

if i have a nice pad or synth going on, how do i
stop a plugin like slayer or sytrus from bleeding
into the next pattern?

try reducing the decay sustain? messing with
those knobs usually shortens the length for me.

turn off its volume at the end of the pattern,
but the above suggestion would be the better
choice

if you want to stop it in a second,here is
another way to do it.try channel setting
window,turn to MISC tab,there is cut and cut by
mark,press cut itself,the cut part is the channel
you want to stop,and the cut by one the the
triggering channel,add an empty channel,also
press cut itself,then it will show you the number.
now you turn the channel that you want to
stop,turn the triggering channel's cut itself
number to the channel you want.then use the
trigging channel as a nomal instrument,when it
plays,it will stop another channel immediately
