How to open stw files ?

BasicBoy	Date: June 7, 2006 @ 7:24 AM on the playlist click down the bottom were you can insert in a .WAV file and on were it says file type click on the menu and make sure that stw comes up on that. if it doesnt you carnt use it
shadowself	Date: June 7, 2006 @ 3:07 PM Is .stw a Sampletank file? If FL won't open it by using basicboy's suggestion, is there a way of exporting from your sampling program to something compatible with FL?

yann333	Date: June 10, 2006 @ 3:30 AM thanks dudes, the stw is sampletank file. I tried Basicboy's suggestion but FL doesn't use it. Any idea to solve this problem?
djkaritsu-flp	Date: June 12, 2006 @ 12:24 PM " id="226045">ok im thinking you have the vst plugin so here's the way you do it if you need visuals hit me up on msn or aim i can show you visuals. when you downloaded, if you downloaded Sampletank vst it will come in a [IK Multimedia folder] in the form of a .dll. hightlight and copy the whole (IK Multimedia folder) and go into fruityloops folder and go into the plugin folder which then you go into the vst folder and paste it now open FL and click on Channels and select add one, and then "More..." once you do, a window will open showing you all the plugins you have. at the bottom it say's refresh, click it and choose fast scan. once thats done it will show you sampletank in red. Check mark the little box so you can use it. now you can use sample tank vst. the .stw you have is a file the sampletank vst uses its an instrument so unless you have the sampletank vst it wont work on its own hope that helps
yann333	Date: June 12, 2006 @ 2:06 PM oh thank you djkaritsu, sorry that I didn't check I have to use that vst plugin to open. Don't have that vst handy, probably get it soon. I understand your logic to use sampletank file and I think it probably works. Just like installing a vst plugin and then simply insert the sampletank file to that plugin. Thanks so much
