juicyray	Date: November 9, 2006 @ 12:06 PM ok heres the thing, i got this one long sound (pad)that when i push down the key long, it makes a continuous sound that goes up and down in pitch and volume. Theres a specific sound that i want to isolate, so i can just play that specific part. Can anyone what knobs i should adjust to isolate that sound? (WITHOUT RENDERING THE FILE TO A WAVE AND CUTTING IT) [img=http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/2350/afdaduc8.th.png] when i try to use it in my step sequencer and try to make a patteren , it keeps on taking the whole entire sound as if i had the key pressed down none stop. thanks to anyone that can help!

2step-4eva	Date: November 10, 2006 @ 1:18 PM if you just want the sound to start and then stop without playing the full length you should edit the volume envelope under the INS tab on the channel settings... if you want to isolate a part somewhere in the middle of the sound then sorry but ur gonna have to render it to a wave and chop it out... if u dont have a program to do this u can download one free its called "audacity" -google it.
