Powerful sampler?

thetulipcutter	Date: December 16, 2006 @ 8:04 PM I'm trying to figure out a way to use the sampler built into fruity loops to use different sound files for each key... kind of like a drum sampler, but I don't really want to have to use an outside plugin if I don't have to. I have some real drum sounds that I wanted to use but I didnt want to have to use so many different samplers for each drum sound... Any ideas?
iOrbit	Date: December 18, 2006 @ 5:32 PM Create a new layer (insert channel - Layer) and set all samples you want to use as it's children. There's a small button next to the text which reads "Layering" click that and choose "Split children"
Italye	Date: December 25, 2006 @ 5:14 PM orrr if you want to get high freaking tech you could use the directwave or FPC plugins, though it may take you a bit to learn how, but they have velocity layers and such neatness.
