I have just bought an M Audio Delta 1010LT
soundcard. What i most need it for is to use the
outputs and have at least four vst instruments
running on four seperate channels on my mixing
desk, there are eight outputs on the delta (four
stereo pairs) so i should be able to do this ,but
i can only get the audio going into one channel
as i used to on my old audigy card.I am very
confused as i have had the card over a day now
and i am pulling my hair out!If there is anyone
out there that can help i would be very gratefull.
Many thanks

VST Connections and add outputs above 1-2 for
them to show up
Then you route each channel to the output you
want ... I don't know about other software
offhand, but let me know what you're running and
I'll try to figure it out

DO you like that delta's sound quality way better
than the audigy????

I've never had an audigy, so I can't do a direct
comparison, but comparing the cards is kind of
silly. The audigy is a consumer card, whereas the
Delta is a low end pro card, or at worst a
hobbyist card. Instead of a bunch of 3D stuff
that you don't need for music production, etc.,
you get better DACs and connectors (and more
inputs and outputs). It should sound a lot better.

There is no comparison. Audigy's just don't have
the headroom that the delta's have. Mainly
because the delta's are desighned for audio
recording and have decent A/D D/A converters.
