krisward	Date: May 13, 2007 @ 6:31 PM hey guys i just bought a brand new mac book and i guess i got a little ahead of myself buying the mobile pre right away as i have had nothing but problems trying to load it. For some reason the sound card doesn't work. I have a brand new mac book 13" mac osx 10.4.9 and I am using garageband. Nothing in the instruction booklet happens with regards to the installation (the book keeps saying i will be prompted for this and prompted for that but i am not prompted for anything i have to do all the clicking) and just when i thought i had it all worked out i just tried recording a demo tune and the only sounds being picked up were the one's from the internal mic. Do I need to set something up in garageband so that it recognizes the sound card? any help would be awesome im pretty bummed out right now.

hate9wicket	Date: May 13, 2007 @ 7:51 PM oops, preview click on system preferences, click on sound, if you installed the device correctly, it should list it as an option. Hope this helps
