Now that i know i am real...How do i get labeled?

RAJE	Date: February 23, 2006 @ 5:52 PM kinda been years i asked myself how should i present myself when sending a demo, how do i choose the correct record house.....and like, if i targeted somthin like Virgin or EMI for naming the bih houses...i guess i'd have to be more than trustfull in myself... And what is the big trick to avoid selling cds on columbia house?
zedsalt	Date: February 24, 2006 @ 10:46 AM Nobody listens to unsolicited demos. Labels are being reduced, more and more, to being essentially just distributors. The best way to get signed to a major anymore is to appear as though you don't really NEED the expertise and other resources of a label, to do well in independent sales and have a large following in regional venues.
