It seems I blinked and missed the Senators do what they are prone to do...clean up the regular season and sink like a lead boat in the first round, well maybe next year I'll pay a little closer attention, since they have a couple guys who played Junior league here in Lincoln(Kris Langfeld and...drawing a blank on the other). Tooles, you have to keep in mind, here in the states, bowling gets better ratings than hockey, even when they were on ESPN. I don't blame the players specifically,since technically the owners locked them out, but NHL needs a reality check(big pun), you can't expect MLB or NBA salaries if the money isn't there. Nor can you charge NFL size prices and expect fans to pay at the door. I would expect to see a few teams fold, and I think that would improve the league.
