bmccosar	Date: February 6, 2007 @ 11:01 PM Actually, I was doing my own cover of the Loser Horns earlier today on my fretless bass -- about the only thing I have that can get close to the trombone sound, with that wailing glissando to Loser Hell at the end. OK, Price is Right junkies (as I am during the summer months when I'm not teaching)--what was your favorite Price is Right game? Mine would be "One Away." You know, that's the one where the price is really something like $1295, but the price they show has the numbers all "one away" from the real value, for example, $2186. One time, there was this crappy old fakey-wood paneled station wagon parked near the lab I used to work at -- you know, folks parking it with a "for sale" sign in the window -- and I saw the price tag was $1200. I thought, "Hey! They're playing One Away!" Say, is that first number a zero or a two? Looks like a zero to me Bob! ding How about the second number? One or three? Hmm, that's a toughie, Bob, I'd have to say one. ding ... No Loser Horns for me!
