HDD players stability....

I have a question for the knowledgable...
I was wondering the rate of skippage for HDD
players when used in activities like running and
whatnot. Since there is moving parts involved,
i'm wondering how good an idea its is to look for
a HDD player even though i like the kick-arse
capacity...
thanks for the feedback...

I really dont think there are any problems with
skipping... If you were to shake your computer
in a paint mixer (hah), i dont think that your
programs would glitch in and out like a cd player
would.

haha. for a second i thought you were talking
about records. lol
I dont think there would be a problem, but if
your listning to music while doing flips on a
tramoline, you MIiiiiiight have a problem.
Day to day use wouldnt screw it over i dont
think...
also.. im not sure, but you miiiiight be able to
replace the hard drive

I've had a 3.5" destop drive in my car for four
years and it still works fine. HDD's are
surprisingly sturdy and most portables use
laptop drives (designed to be banged around). In
addition most portables have a memory buffer so
they aren't spinning continuously.
