Need A Guitar

Hi Folks

This is dead cheeky I know, but I am desperate to get hold of an electric guitar, lead or bass.

I have the chance to join a fairly new band in my area who need a bassist and a rythm/lead player but I don't have an instrument.

The worst is that I have no job (lost mine through disability) and have no cash.

So if there is anyone in the UK reading this who wants to get rid of an old guitar - any condition, I can fix it up - and who is prepared to pay postage, I will be eternally grateful.

I know this is a hell of a lot to ask for but this is the first shot I've had at getting on stage with people and I really really want it bad. You guys are about the only ones I know who would understand how much it can mean to some people.
