In my opinion this is the best centralized server file sharing app of all, bar none.

* Filetopia's creator 'Betaman' works full time on this and for no profit in mind.

* Filetopia is made with ABSOLUTELY NO business model in mind... it is done for security and freedom.

Filetopia's high points:
- it is HEAVILY encrypted (unlike other apps which in some cases actually make it EASY to get your ip!)
- central server in Spain (away from the RIAA)
- very fast transfer rates with resuming available always (unlike napster and gnutella)
- ANY files can be shared (unlike Napster and Cute MX (certain mp3s))
- awesome chat feature (beats the hell out of IRC) (with extrememly customizable features)
- anyone can own a chat channel forever... plus each chat channel has its own bulletin board!
- anonimity because of encryption with optional 'bouncer' available
- instant messaging (like ICQ)
- bandwith throttling for increased upload control
- + search, hotlists (WAY more configurable than Napster) etc.

Why bother with others???
This is the best.
