My friends (and some family) call me "milla"

pronounced where I live, a suburb of New Yawk. So
it was just natural that it become my
fartistical moniker. milladrive is the name of

started sucking. On top of that, I was no longer
the only Senorfrog in the Internet world...their
were many mimics. I chose frawgster as my nick

seeing how bad Senor Frog's sucks, I'm glad I
changed it

The "love" comes - interestingly enough - from good 'ol "Gangster of Love" by [let's see who can guess]. I used to be in a ska band called "Section 8". As you might imagine, approximately 3,000 other shitty garage bands in the USA also wanted this name. We were joking around one day and while listening to [guess the artist] thought to use "Gangster of Love" but change it to "Gangstas of Love" for that east-bay oaklander bit of pizazz. My name in the band was...you guessed it..."MikeyLove".

I used to have a (very) short lived morning TV talk show called the Xero Hour on my college station. It was a fun show, too bad it lacked any real direction and was very low brow humor, ie I had this guy called Rooster who would scream Cock-A-Doodle Doo all the time have a segment called the Rooster's Rant, in the rant he usually bitched about "fat chicks", being very graphic and insulting and redneck yokel hicks that live around my college town. Otherwise it was pretty much like D Musical notes where I yapped about nothing too important after throwing out some news bites.

I was posting a bitch I had on the old old DM board. Remember the old Pearl script board? I used the nic 'NotAlone' to indicate that I was, (I hoped) not alone in the opinion that I was expressing.
I seem to remember that some newbee was asking a (duh!!) question about how to use some feature in Winamp. Several of the regular DM posters were flaming the dude really bad. I posted as 'NotAlone' giving my thoughts that not everyone had been using WinAmp since pre beta and they should give the newbee the info he requested and not flame him because he had questions about how to run WinAmp 0.86.
Got FLAMED really bad for my trouble.
Those were really fun days at DM! Everyday run of the mill threads on the old DM board could run over a hundred posts and those hundred posts could happen in just a few hours. Had to spend hours reading all the new posts just to keep up with everything.
?Remember the "I am Bob" Days? Hehee, bet Bob must be at least 15 nowadays. I wonder if he ever figured out that cows

dsch
Date: February 8, 2002 @ 11:59 PM
DSCH comes from composer Dmitri Shostakovich. The German spelling of his name was D. Schostakowitsch, and the German notation system allows the abbreviated form of that to be translated to notes (DSCH==D E-flat C B). I'm more than a little bit obsessed with Shostakovich (though I only have maybe 1/1000 of his talent), but I stole his initials anyway. When I go by the nickname Mitya, for the record, Mitya is a common Russian diminutive for Dmitri; Shostakovich was known as Mitya when he was little.

Hmmm... Well I had the nickname faith at one time and when I signed up for an e-mail account a/ hotmail it gave me faith61@hotmail.com Eventually I just added the 15 in there, because that is how old I was at the time.
Then when I started using the internet after not doing so for awhile I became jess1561 on bolt.com... But I also have another s/n I use and have since I first used the internet. It's jessiduh The nickname I got as a child because I used to say Duh! alot... lol... And I still use it...

well SnomaN came from snowman (if u couldn't tell due 2 my radical spelling change) basically when u call some1 a "snowman" its usually the new guy, or some1 u dont take seriously. i picked it up from the fact that most ppl who find out i rap r all like "haha yea rite", plus im white n so is snow...btw that emote was freakin neato tam.
the 6453 comes from the fact that my real name is mike, n thats how u spell it on a phone, so i thru it in there.
oh milla if my account says mickey lacroix as my real name, thas cuz i was bein dumb its really mike brown.

Try spelling this: Mike Gruszczynski (dammit, I just gave it away). Pronouncing it's not too hard: Gra zin ski, but it's a lot easier to just say MikeGruz, so....bet you can't guess what country my ancestors are from
Also been called Zansk, Griswald, Grizzley, Pollock (one of my favorites *ahem*) Grinch, Zinski and on and on. I could write a book about my nicknames

Thasp originated from the dumb saying thaspeedman, and I was just making up words from other slangs and dropping letters where I saw fit until I got Thasp.
There are many variations. Have you met the Thisp?

My nick is my initials and the abbreviation of the city I live in. Pretty simple.
A couple gaming buddies noticed that phoenetically it sounds like a a New Yorker saying "mocks" which is something I am known to do. (Mock people, that is, not speaking like a New Yorker, although I did that a lot on stage. )
One final note, one thing I like about iNicks is that a lot is left for interpretation by the reader.
For example, "Thaspian" is very similar to "thespian", which is an actor. Seems fitting to me.
"Arthen" sounds like a word that means "One made like Arthain" which is, I believe, a Tolkein character. That coupled with your avatar, which looks like a Balrog from The Lord of the Rings, leads to the mystical fantastical impression. I'm sure you (Arthen) would disagree with that assessment. But the point is that, for me, that is the 'feeling' I got and affects my impression of you as a person.
And Kredd, I'm not gonna touch yours but most of the mysterious people are from almost 2 years ago. Maybe that is why you don't recognize them. Hmm?
