What tuning does Deftones use?

poetix	Date: April 29, 2006 @ 12:39 PM i think it is Drop D, but my guitar doesnt sound anything like theirs. i think the one time was able to match their sound was when i put my gutiar into Drop C but i dint remember how to do that. Does anyone know how to get that sound??

EvilPicnic	Date: April 29, 2006 @ 12:58 PM [after a brief internet search] He uses both 6 & 7 string guitars, & the normal one is tuned Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb (down a semitone & drop D), the 7 string is down a semitone, with the low string dropped down a further tone (Ab Eb Ab Db Gb Eb).
