Maybe check out some of the stuff on the No Speak label? Again, I hesitate, because so many of their acts spotlight jaw-droppingly fine technique...

But he's not rock by any means, more of a jazz/funk feel on top of with hop hop beats, with some noodle acoustic stuff on top.
