My Korg's on the way out, volume dropping etc.
So I want need a new pedal. Any recommendations?
Bear in mind, I want to keep my tone, well near
enough anyway
(must have a good acoustic tone in
there somewhere, if poss) Remember I'm poor

I considered the ax100/1000 when I was looking
for a multi-fx. I am so glad I didn't, tonally
my gt-3($130US on ebay) is WAAAAY better.
The boss gt series is amazing. besides having a
super powerful processor and fully tweakable
digital effects, my gt-3 has: an effect chain,
more presets than you can shake a stick at, step
filters, extremely concvinving preamp simulators,
and it's built like a russian masseuse!
it also has THE coolest feature I've seen, the
assign pedal. the assign pedal can automate any
effect's parameters into a process. so I can set
the drive of my distortion to cycle between 10-70
at any rate I want, in a sin, tri, or saw wave
shape!
gt-3 is a nice small gt compared to the later
ones, and you should be able to find one in your
price range.
there's also second-hand first generation line6
pods, which sound great, but they have crappy
floorpedals.
