I just had to share this. I visited GuitarGuitar in Glasgow for the first time today and played this;

Easily the best guitar I've ever played by a long way. At £4000 I'll never be able to afford it but it was a joy to play. Apologies to Bill the sales guy who had to suffer me playing and prise it out of my hands.

I love that moment when the salesman realizes "This guy would dearly love to buy this, but he obviously has nowhere NEAR enough money". It even takes a little of the sting out for me.
I'd really like to have a parlor-sized 12 fret, something with the soundhole a little lower on the waist and the bridge/tailpiece more toward the center of the back bout, like Gibson's Robert Johnson. I think those have the old fashioned V neck profile, too, which would be really nice.
Back when my first Ovation got a Vox bass ran through it in a car wreck (late '86), I found out that about the only things around with that neck were Ovations (Adamas/Applause/Celebrity) and a few really pricey special models of other manufacturers. It's good to see the market driving more of a variety.
