Renaming a Song?

When I rename a song on my artist edit's file
manager it doesn't mess with the actual file's
url does it?
I mean when I upload an MP3 it is usualy
something like "mysong.mp3" but I don't like the
site using the song file's name as the title of
the song it lists in the music section and on my
music page. So I have been changing the song
names after uploading them to something like "My
Song Title". Is that OK? ...it won't screw up
the sound file right?
Just checking because I remember reading
something here about uploading files with no
spaces.
Thanks,
Jeff

Yeah, the filename shouldn't contain any spaces
or it may affect people's ability to stream it.
However, when you upload a song, right next to
the section where you "browse" for the file to
upload, there is a section to input the desired
"title" of the track.
So for example your file name can be "mysong.mp3"
but if you enter "My Song" in the title section,
that is what will show up on your artist page.

Or go into your artists file manager, click on
properties under the song name and there's a
rename option. Click this to rename the
song{file name remains the same}
