Can anyone name something positive about the RIAA?

whats been good about the RIAA?
they've shown us what bad business is.
in the RIAA case, we all should learn, don't
attack your consumer base, unless you want your
company to go under. instead adapt to new
technology or face extinction. just like the
horse drawn carriage when the model t came
around, the horse drawn carriage couldn't adapt
thust faced extinction. The RIAA is very much
the Horse drawn carriage and the p2p networks
are the model Ts. if the riaa don't adapt they
will find themselves extinct. sorry RIAA, the
p2p networks are here to stay, and much like the
automobile, it will get better and better and
better. by attacking the fan base, they have
sped up there extinction.
