pog	Date: March 14, 2004 @ 5:24 PM I remember installing the flash plugin into mozilla once on mandrake, and it was a case of going to macromedia.com and it detected everything. Maybe you can learn from what it does, i.e. what gets installed where.

pog	Date: March 14, 2004 @ 9:58 PM I just went to mozilla.org and read up on the faq's and it stated... 3.11) Where can I get patches? There is not currently a central repository of patches. However, via CVS, you can keep up with the latest source from Mozilla. so maybe it's just the build that needs updating... it also went on to say something about netscape7 having a few newer patches that aren't out yet in mozilla.

tomkerswill	Date: March 18, 2004 @ 12:55 PM It's quite easy in the case of, say, Flash and similar plugins. Any plugins that you get should be put (as root) into /usr/local/mozilla/plugins -- at least this is how it works on my system. Things like realaudio, flash, java all work great - just download linux versions of them from their respective sites and whack the files ending in .so into the plugins folder. Then just quit and re-open mozilla. Tom
