I need some help too(another non-music problem)

I just bought a new game from a store(I think it
was used, and that might have something to do
with the problem) and I've successfully installed
it. However, after it gets past the opening
credits, it says there's an access violation
right after. I asked my friend for help, and he
doesn't know what to do, I tried a few things
too. Does anyone know how to fix this "access
violation." Also, the game is T3 War of the
Machines and it says there's a problem with the
address or something, although it is a valid one,
I've checked that possibility too. If anyone
knows how to fix this it would be greatly
appreciated.

I'm assuming you mean Terminator 3 - War of the
Machines.... it's made by atari.... I'd be having
a look in their forums, or contacting them
through this page

Not really a gamer, but I'd suggest downloading
and installing the latest version of Direct X.

I wonder if that worked?
Whats's the acess violation say?
What kind of video card do you have?
I know Nvidia has new drivers, and those you
haven't installed them yet were having problems
starting Windows (in some cases).
The only other thing I can think of is if you
have a hardware compatibility problem.
