So you choose any song you want, either one of from the list in the game or one from a drive on your computer. Choose a hard fast beat and you will have a hard fast game on your hands, choose a slow soft one and ... you get it! I find it good to match my mood at the time. It's not a bad game actually, but i would like to see more games being made using this idea in different ways. http://www.audio-surf.com/

hantu	Date: April 19, 2008 @ 2:20 PM No, not really. It's kind of the opposite in some ways. One of them being the gameplay, you ride/experience your music rather than actually playing/creating it. The other being the price lol.

evansorchid	Date: May 17, 2008 @ 1:50 AM Whenever I'm walking through a Best Buy store or a Fry's Electronics or some place like that and they have one of those 'Guitar Hero' games set up playing on some extra large wide-screen HDTV and it's surrounded by ten or more idiots mesmerized by this ridiculous game which has NOTHING to do with playing the guitar, and teaches NOTHING at all about the dedication it takes to learn to play the guitar....I just want to take that piece of plastic with the flashing lights which is kinda-sorta shaped like a guitar and smash it over each and every one of those kids heads while screaming.....GO GET A REAL FUCKING GUITAR!!! I'm done now....you can shoot me.

hantu	Date: May 17, 2008 @ 12:49 PM I actually haven't played this in a while, nore did i play it that much at the time. It's Assassin's Creed's fault with it's repetitive gameplay, funky glitches and the cute way it crashes differently each week can't get enough of it. And then there's a bit of the old Need For Speed: Most Wanted and NFS III. Funny how NFS III seems more difficult, revisiting gaming memories are fun. That Guitar Hero thing has gotten a bit out of hand, but it's pretty cool. I would never waste my money on it, plus it's so in your face which forces me to shy away for some reason. It's at least a little better than all them games where you have to press a button at the right time in order to get your character to dance or play or whatever. Never liked them games, although the Bully Science Class was ok as a mini-game, mini-game, mini-game. I guess a dancer would tell a player of such a game to get off their fat ass and shake it. I'm pretty sure I have at some point shot you already evan, you survived? drat!

The phrase "cross-connection" comes to mind. That just looks like a recipe for disaster. Especially if they decide to plug their guitar into an amplifier while playing along. But it still defeats the purpose of learning to play the guitar. I suppose the low E-string would be the yellow light and the A-string is the red light and the D-string is the green light. You would think that they would at least teach the fundamentals of power-chording. I stand by my earlier statements. Nice try though....
hantu	Date: May 21, 2008 @ 3:45 PM No, I just happen to stumble upon it whilst looking for something else in the gaming region And I wasn't really trying anything, just thought it was interesting and relevant. I think it might be interesting to see games being designed for use with a real guitar, and even designed to teach. Then there's that whole Wiimote DJing thingy bob, gotta try that shit out.

evansorchid	Date: May 22, 2008 @ 12:39 AM You're sick. I'll bet they do have folks dying on Youtube if you search hard enough. What was that one video called that came out a number of years ago, that simply had real home movie footage of folks actually dying. The name of it slips my mind right now.
