music taste leads me to you!

fringe	Date: January 19, 2006 @ 12:39 PM okay im new here, i hope this is no newbie question allready answered. i found it very difficult to find some artists who fit my taste, even browsing through the genres i like did not come to a good result. so probably there will be some similarities in music you listen to and the music you guys produce. if you like the artists i mention now, just tell me and i will come along and see what you have! btw sorry about my english... no special ranking: krikor, ark, dj koze, amon tobin, matthew herbert, mathew dear, modeselektor, four tet, lusine...and some labels: perlon, kompakt,karat, bpitch, ninja tune. hope there are some people who match with parts of it. bye fringe

jack	Date: January 19, 2006 @ 3:27 PM Four Tet and Amon Torbin are pretty cool, haven't heard/heard of the others you listed. my stuff is no where near that sort of standard though but if you do find anything good note me or something

pancreaspuppet	Date: January 20, 2006 @ 8:02 PM Hey I'm into a lot of that stuff too, but also haven't heard of a lot of what you listed - they must be pretty obscure, right? Favourites on my pod at the moment are Múm, Rei Harakami, Frost, Pivot, Boards of Canada... etc. If that's your taste, then I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on my stuff.

zedsalt	Date: January 21, 2006 @ 11:47 AM It's beyond surprising that you're having difficulty finding music to match your tastes here. I would think that one would have the exact opposite problem, as the sheer number of Electronic artists...brilliant, innovative Electronic artists...here is overwhelming. Maybe the comments on artists' pages would help. I've seen a few of the artists you mentioned and a couple of the labels cited there.
