Hello there just listenin to some of your music..good stuff...I'm working on a series of compilation c.d's called 4;20 radio (in all genre's of music...metal punk hardcore.....rap urban trip.....funk art lounge...blues comedy jazz world )......Anything goes as long as it rules........ 4;20 radio is going to be a bunch of compilation albums/ mixed tapes for marketing purposes for all bands contributing..Are you interested in contributing a song or piece of soundscape for one of these upcoming albums??.....All bands contributing will get a photo with band information and web sight marketing on the comp disc as well as a spot on the 4;20 websight (being built)..All bands will obviously get their proper writing credits .All bands will get their song put onto at least 2000 copies of a proffessionally made c.d (hopefully more) with marketing at live venues accross Canada and Japan.. All bands will retain the rights to their music.....If you are interested please send us a c.d (online mp3's cannot be used) .. send any additional promo material you have for us to use as well..art stickers etc... ..We also have people at 508 who do reviews for Maximum Underground Magazine which distributes north america wide..certain albums will get reviewed in the magaine as well as each 420 radio disc.. please send any songs you'd consider us using or any full lenghth c.d's for review.......Address (erased) ........keep up the good work ....there is no bad intent in this project , just some crazy music lovers trying to help bands from all around the globe...

The issue I have that I don't see any mention of money for me right?Or I'm I missing something??Aside from that many of you know that I type real bad but this person sounds like no pro at this either so am I judging to harsh?As many of you we all have been through this stuff before and for me some leads have actually been real enough to give me music resume but I always get stuck in the business aspect of things because I tend to trust to much ...

Now something I want to point out is that Ive been getting emails lately due to my present position(7-11) on the experimental electronica genre.You see when you upload the genre's page I'm in the first page with a few others(about 15)..Easy access to both the real leads and not so real leads...Please understand I'm not trying to hype me up with this info I'm dwarfed by the amount of talent in this place and love the community vibe here,so as a fellow musician I just need advice and I want to give you guys what I have in order to make a decision...

Well, the questions are obvious, right? What's in this for the person making the invite, and what's in this for you?
There are plenty of sleazy types out there, but I like to think that their numbers are dwarfed by those seeking to expand their own/their act's visibility. O.k., so most of these group promo things never really get off the ground...so what would that mean in this case?
Gently-worded questions to these points would be welcomed by anyone who's NOT doing anything underhanded. What exactly would you be risking? What would you stand to gain? What, if anything, does it really mean for the material you submit if the project never really comes together? I don't see any harm in fair questions asked in a friendly manner.
