Greetings, It's my first day on this site and I
can see what they mean by addictive. I have been
making music off and on for nearly 40 years, not
very well, and never the same thing. I had
aspirations of being a singer song-writer, but
that was over 30 years ago. I'm a traveling
teacher now, and carry an Oxygen 8 MIDI
controller and Mac PowerBook everywhere I go. It
keeps me out of trouble in the air ports and
hotels. Give it a listen and tell me what you
think.

Hiya
Welcome to the community! We rarely get
people who've been making music for as long as
you. Good to have ya.

How is it going? I have been making music for 32
years now. I started when I was 15. You can do
the math. By the time I was 16 I was playing in
clubs with my dad. We started out playing those
places that most people of honest upbringing
would never step into. I saw my first nude woman
then. She just stripped off and started dancing
on a table. The fun lasted for about 10 minutes
when the owner's wife came in and made her stop
and get dressed. It was the thrill of my life.
I have a hundred stories like these that I
experienced as I developed as a musician. I have
seen 50 year old drag queens, A guy having oral
sex with a girl that I screwed the night before,
People getting stomped in the face on concrete,
(one guy stayed in ICU for 3 weeks, I thought our
lead player would have a nervous breakdown),and
plenty of good memories. Nice to know some that
has been around longer than I have.
