"without a damn mic" ?????? Could you rephrase
the question? What do you currently have-(aside
from the mic)? What are you trying to record?
What is the system? I’d be happy to try and help,
I just need a coherent question before I can!

Presonus Firepod. Comes with Cubase 48 track
software.
8 mic/instrument pres (nice)
$600.00 new
That will solve all your recording problems. You
will also need a mic,and a decent cable. I
recomend the Shure PG series if your low on
dough, but don't attempt to use them live. Latez.
