All the preloaded sound effects sound fake and
boring in my opinion. How can i find (or create
my own)new sounds to work with??
Any help is greatly appreciated for a FL Newbie

Also, I noticed all the pre-loaded sound effects
originate at the C note (C5 on the piano roll).
Does this mean if i sample another instrument to
use, that it must be a C note sample? Otherwise
all the other notes on the piano roll would be
thrown off, no?
I hope I am making sense. . .

Although I'm not a FL user, I think it's
perfectly easy to record one's own wav samples
from a plethora of places.
One solution is to use something like the IXI
software Slicer to make new sliced samples for
easy use.
