jonspratt	Date: May 2, 2007 @ 10:25 PM Yeh, tabs, although useful if you have heard/know the song previously, don't account for timing, so even if I play what I see there on my guitar, it could be way off. Gonna have to throw us a little more, most likely some audio......
officernarc	Date: May 22, 2007 @ 2:18 AM well, now that i sat down and played it how it probably should be (you're playing it fast, right?) it makes sense. if not, i would suggest you play it kind of fast (around 140-160 bpm if that makes any sense to you) for more of a mission of burma type feel to it. also, i'd suggest getting rid of some of the notes and play it like this: e\|- b\|- g\|------------------------8888 d\|------------------------8888\66666666 a\|--44444444/66666666/88886666\66666666 e\|--22222222/44444444/66666666\44444444 this way, it's a bit more streamlined and slightly less messy to play. also, forget playing it with downstrokes. that'll just make it sound choppy. as far as the riff goes, it's not bad. i'd suggest using it maybe more for an intro or chorus riff though. i mean, it's not a complex riff or anything and it's melodic enough to help carry a vocal if you're rockin' out. anyway, just thought i'd let you know what i thought.
