digidesign hardware???

im trying to run protools on my computer but it
wont start up unless i plug in sum "digidesign
hardware". im stumped on how to fix this....

Protools is not as much software.. as it is
hardware.... the actually DAW itself is not that
impressive.. it's being able to utilize the DSP
power of a tdm or hd system.. that really makes
it worth while... most of it is just hype though
because protools was the fist DAW.... basicly
your best bet... is to either go to digidesins
website.. and DL protoolsFree..... or go out and
buy an MBOX or something... it would be dumb to
pirate the software
