Faster Audio Bouncing

Is there any way to make protools bounce or
'render' audio faster than waiting for the actual
length of the bounced audio? Every other program
ive used does it in a fraction of the time.

no there is no faster way... you can speed up the
conversion time (the step after the bounce) by
decreasing the conversion quality in your
preferences....
all the other programs take your multitrack
session and simply saves it as a 2 track wav (or
whatever)... but protools actually bounces
everything to 2 tracks in real time and then
converts it to a wav (or whatever) that's one
reason why the mix down sounds better out of
protools then most other programs.
