Reason 3.0 general help

So I have been really interested in creating
music through software for a long time, and I am
considering buying Reason 3.0 . The problem is I
have absolutely ZERO experience in this sort of
thing, so I am worried I will have no idea what
to do and will never be able to use it. Any
suggestions?
I browsed amazon for some tutorial books.
anybody know of one that is particularly good?
thanks a lot for any help.

I learned how to handle Reason 3.0 over a month
by myself, just doodling.
Can't be that big deal... but I'm freakin psycho
at such stuff.
Well, Fruity Loops is said to be a lot easier to
learn, but Reason is better for advanced
production.
Reason comes with an operation manual as well.
Rtfm!
If you learn by yourself you'll probably find it
easier later on too.
And you won't need to have a book making music
for you.
Talent is the key.

...I do believe they have a demo to download.. If
not just get Reason Adapted, it's the stripped
down version...you can upgrade to 3.0 from there
when you're ready. Most of the tutorial books are
pretty good. The MANUAL is INVALUABLE!!!! It
amazes me whan people come here and ask how to do
something simple when it's right in the manual.
The FIRST thing I always do with any new software
or hardware it read the manual. There is also an
excellent video tutorial on the Reason site.

Reason is very user friendly i think because of
its rack interface.
Well, the manual is great, but i think u may
also learn a lot by downloading song file from
the huge reason communauty and of course by
experimentating.
Anyway combinator on r3.0 makes things much more
easy comparing to R2.5.
I really love this website:
http://www.reasonstation.net.
The forums are
really valuables and people can help u if u have
some difficulties.
