I use Cool Edit Pro 2.1, is there something
better? Or should I just stick with that?

I also use cool edit pro - I love it. I have
tried cakewalk and hated it. I like the idea with
cool edits multi track you can mike I think up to
24 tracks, don't quote me on that though. The
built in effects are nice also. Unfortunately
it's now an adobe product. Can't remember the
name at the moment.

I'm strictly ACID... however, everyone keeps
telling me to switch over to Cool Edit Pro...
Thinking about doing it this summer.

it's adobe audition. and that isnt a bad thing
ciferno, the program is MUCH more indepth now and
has many more features.
and i dont like acid... last time i used acid
there was no way to edit individual waves like
you can in cool edit... but maybe it's changed
since then.

ADOBE AUDTION IS COOL... ITS A VERY GOOF WAVE
EDITING PROGRAM.... BUT IF YOUR ARE TYRING TO GO
IN DEPTH OF MULTY TRACKING, YOU SHOULD TRY SONAR,
NUENDO, CUBASE, DIGITAL PERFORMER OR, PROTOOLS
