What Sound card will I buy?

killerbiller	Date: June 2, 2005 @ 8:24 AM Hello out there? I have two old cards , avance and soundblaster. I just have no idea which soundcard I would buy, so what do you recomend when it is about price/perfomance soundcard? Help is appreciated

DigWeed	Date: June 2, 2005 @ 3:10 PM i just posted to u on another thread, anyhow, here goes again.. it depends on how are u going to be recording (midi, audio, mic.. ) and how much u are willing to spend on it.. once u decide on this, u can shortlist a number of interfaces that will work for u
killerbiller	Date: June 3, 2005 @ 2:33 AM okej Digweed,, I play the guitar connected by a jack into the back of my pc (no recording by a mic) and i want a good soundcard for around 150. i dont need an ultimate one if it costs over 200 waiting for your answer
pog	Date: June 3, 2005 @ 5:16 AM If you already have 2 soundcards, then I would consider the possiblity of using one for recording and one for playback. Then you can invest the money on a decent mic and a small mixing desk or a small amp. If you really wish to get a new soundcard, then m-audio is prolly the way to go.
