Recording samples from DVD

I was wanting to record some voice samples from a
DVD to sample in a song and was wondering if
anyone had any good advice for me. i have no idea
how to do this

some good advice: don't do it unless you have
clearance. Wanna avoid the whole copyright
issue? recreate it. Is it some dialogue? Have
a couple of friends act it out from your script -
wouldn't copy it verbatim, either.
Unless you have a program that can capture it
from your dvd drive on your comp, and seperate
the video from the audio - the best way to do it
is connect the audio outs of your dvd player to
the inputs of your mixer, capture the audio then
slice and dice the way you need it.
but I wouldn't.

If you set Audacity (free) to Stereo Mixer
instead of mic or line in or whatever it records
whatever is playing on your computer.
