changing bit rate?

JohnAnderson	Date: July 25, 2006 @ 10:51 PM How do you change the bit rate? On say m-audio moble pre usb. Or would i change it in garageband?
hate9wicket	Date: July 25, 2006 @ 11:31 PM in garageband it records 16 bit at 44 sampling rate, so in the hardware, you need to change that if you have it set at 24 bit 96 sampling, sorry, 'tis the best it can go.
woodhead	Date: July 26, 2006 @ 1:03 AM well that is a very open ended question. Do you want to record in a higher bit rate? do you want to convert to a lower bit rate? the bit rate is basicly set in your card, then in your software, some cards only handle 16 bit some 24 etc...
