I wanna make beats... What's the easiest program to get started?

K3VIN	Date: April 3, 2006 @ 4:41 PM Decent sounds , depends what you like, the cost is decent, but you can always try it out with a demo, also you can add on samples you buy or download, sample songs, change around sounds etc.
LiQuidMetamo...	Date: April 3, 2006 @ 5:19 PM Making beats with Redrum in Reason is easy once you get the hang of it. Unless you want to just cut and paste loops, which you can still do with Reason, using Dr. Rex loop player or in a program like Acid, FL or Ableton Live 5. You might like Ableton live as well as FL, it's a great composition and remixing program. Something like Groove Agent by Steinberg is really simple to use too as it has a whole bunch of presets and variations of the preset already programmed.

tsand19151	Date: April 3, 2006 @ 10:27 PM ...i use Groove Agent as well...super easy with great presets.....I think there is a demo to download. I also use BFD (expensive and needs a fast, powerful computer but the best sounding, IMO)and Reason's Drum Kit 2.o. Groove Agent is the easiest to use, and it sound great. See if they have a demo to download. Please try before you buy

tsand19151	Date: April 4, 2006 @ 12:58 AM ..the other option is to get a hardware drum machine like the Boss Dr. Rhythm series. Yamaha and Alesis make them as well. You could fine a used one real cheap. Just a thought.
