BasicBoy	Date: October 5, 2007 @ 11:59 AM i know its been asked loads but oh well.does anyone know any good free plugins vsts or vstis that will work with fruity loops.im after some that are good for doing basslines/synths and drum beats.please dont tell me to go on this site and that site because ive been on just about everysite on google and found either crap ones or ones that dont work with fl.just names would be good thanks

leedsquietman	Date: October 5, 2007 @ 3:09 PM any vst, except the new vst 3.0 (and only steinberg have those plugins as they developed it for cubase 4 and haven't released the SDK yet to 3rd parties) should work with FL. many free plugins are crap. You should be fine using FL's inbuilt drums etc for programming there will be nothing better for free on that front. There are some good freebie synths. Buy a copy of computer music and you get a free version of u-he's zebra synth, it's cut down compared to the full zebra 2 but very tasty nonetheless. The best free download synth imho is Crystal http://www.greenoak.com/crystal/ Even though I have several expensive paid vstis by Native Instruments, Arturia and Korg, I still use Crystal sometimes.
