The pain was nothing; it was doing it to myself that proved difficult. B) Growing up on a livestock farm, I've been subjected to some of the worst odors one can imagine. My experience has been that the worse something stinks, the more quickly one grows accustomed to it. Unless the Jonas Brothers thing included some hellishly devious block to whatever it is that makes unpleasant stimuli easier to take as time passes,I'd have to choose it over self-emasculation.

My memory is probably clouded by the three or four days after attaining that bit of knowledge, days I spent thinking little more than, "Really? Only 37 pounds?" I booshed my knee on a sidewalk about nine years ago, and it still doesn't bend right. I'll just bet you I busted it.
